I began building pcs for myself and friends back in the early 80’s and enjoyed the challenges. In the 2000’s I worked for Intel at Microsoft building prototype servers and specialized pc for Microsoft employees again for Intel. I no longer build them because i no longer have the patience. But I agree big box makers provide better value for your money, but also often lesser quality in their components. My latest PC was custom build from an online store and purchased for me by my son. It is an I9 Intel 128gig of ram and a Asus Mb with an Nvida Quadro video card. I am a flight simulator hobbyist so bought a 43” Samsung video display to work in a 3 screen display. I don’t use laptops but do use my IPad Pro 12.9 a great deal. Including right now.

Have a wonderful day

Don
