Nice surprise, today. Family insisting the old fossil come out of retirement to play back up guitar this week or next for oldest grand daughter (13) who wowed top Hollywood agents with her auditions last week, on loc. there. She even got the coveted closing spot in the vocal auditions & buried all the competition. Explained to son, dau-in-law & gr dau, only a few are close to performance quality. They replied, pick whatever you want & she'd learn the vocal. 1st pick? Blackbird by McCartney. Will run through other works in progress this week for next choice. Probably an Eagles classic. Though one be Dylan is another contender. She has a beautiful voice with perfect relative pitch, matching her looks & picks up material as fast as me over my decades of active playing. Not had this much fun in years. Agents won't use U-Tube so hope the format can be posted here. Until they sign her, the feed isn't proprietary for them Anyway, will know in a week or two. Iso
