Meanwhile, hundreds of people in Manitoba who just got home two weeks ago after a month or more away from home due to wildfires have been told they have to evacuate again.

Manitoba is seeing about 25 new fires every day.

Things remain calmer here in BC thanks to the cooler wetter weather we have been having, so there are now only about 80 fires burning. But as we are now less than a month away from the official start of fire season, and many areas of the province remain in drought conditions in spite the recent weather, people are still on edge.

Damn, I just heard on the news that they are expecting more flash floods in Texas.
