Boy, today Trump really ratcheted up his threats and rhetoric against the entire world, in effect saying:" I will set the cost of doing business in this country, and you will obey, or I will put tariffs so high you cannot do business here, and ends it with:" I don't care what you do".
So it is becoming clear to the world, and especially our allies, they have to destroy him, and us with him.
The world will ratchet up their own efforts to go around us, not import anything we sell for starters, so the farmers are really going to be screwed, and many corporations that produce things like food.
So the stagflation seems baked into the cake: he will destroy our economy with his threats, and push inflation up with his onerous tariffs
We are totally fucked, not just economically, but our reputation will be in tatters by the time he leaves.
He doesn't seem to realize, or doesn't care, that he is making us a pariah to the world like North Korea
and Russia, his two BFF!
And as I have been saying for a long time, he is going to follow Putins play book, and we are going to end up in the same boat. And he has been.
