Who watched all 11 hours of the surveillance tape. Apparently at least two people do go through that door.

It occurs to me that if it was known that the camera has a 1 minute dead period every night, that would be the right time to go in and do the deed.

Could someone get in, break a neck , and get out in a minute? I don't know, probably with practice.
