People forget that Jesus Christ is a political figure, but his upcoming reign on Earth won't be a democracy or republic or an oligarchy; but a kingdom. To modern sensibilities that's a fossil form of government.

But people of all nations will one day be his royal subjects. He will not allow wars or the learning of war for as long as he reigns. He will not be deposed, voted out, assassinated or succeeded. He will not abdicate or die of old age.

His administration will be fair, with justice impartially dispensed for all groups and individuals. He can't be flattered, bribed or threatened. He will never seek his own gain. He will not tolerate revolt. He won't allow corruption in local governments or businesses.

The world will become verdant everywhere. Animals will be tame. Any of them can become pets.

There will be both urban and rural life.

These things are stated in various places in both Testaments.
Anyone who finds salvation through him in this corrupt age are early adopters of the life to come.
