MTG Introduces Bill to Make ‘Deadly’ Weather Manipulation a Felony—Here Are the Details

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is taking bold action to outlaw what many Americans believe is one of the most underreported and dangerous practices in modern times: weather manipulation.

In a fiery announcement on X, Greene unveiled new legislation that would make it a felony to inject, disperse, or release chemicals into the atmosphere for the purpose of altering weather, temperature, climate, or sunlight intensity. The bill, inspired by Florida’s Senate Bill 56, marks the first serious federal move to criminalize geoengineering and weather modification.

“I have been researching weather modification and working with legislative counsel for months writing this bill,” Greene wrote. “We must end the dangerous and deadly practice of weather modification and geoengineering. This is not normal.”

Greene’s legislation comes as a growing number of Americans raise questions about suspicious weather patterns, sudden temperature swings, and unexplained cloud formations. While the Weather Modification Policy Act of 1976 does require federal reporting for such activities, critics say it has no teeth—there are no real penalties, no transparency, and no accountability.

Enter MTG’s bill, which would finally hold bad actors—whether corporations, universities, or federal agencies—accountable with felony-level consequences.

The bill already has co-sponsorship from Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN), and Greene says she’s working to bring more lawmakers from both sides of the aisle onboard.

The move comes amid revelations that federal and state agencies are spending millions on secretive cloud-seeding and atmospheric intervention programs. One such program, dubbed “Project Title,” received $55 million in taxpayer funding—all without public disclosure.

Greene isn’t just looking to punish rogue actors—she wants to redirect that funding to real solutions like desalination, aquifer restoration, and pipeline repairs.

“I want clean air, clean skies, clean rainwater, clean groundwater, and sunshine—just like God created it!!” Greene declared.

And now, she’s turning that declaration into law.
