Agree. Going to be very tough to ever find out. Too many important people here & in other nations are involved. One story explanation I saw was that enough congressmen & senators are on the list that Trump couldn't get Big Beautiful Bill passed unless he protected them,. That's only one of several possible reasons. Again, we'll probably never know that either.
