Well if Alberta leaves, who will pay Quebec it's $8 billion graft payment? The provinces that are left, so they will all pay more. No doubt something you look forward to.

The tax figures you presented deserve to be examined more closely. If they were presented with per capita amounts, one would wonder why Quebec is so low. Perhaps an examination of who is on welfare, disability, EI, supply management schemes, and other forms of pay for little or nothing could shed some light on why Quebec's numbers are so low.

A further examination of "before and after deduction" tax rates would share more light.

Why is Quebec treated differently? That is one of the reasons that Albertans want a new deal or to get out of Canada.
