There are more than 120 presidential nominations still waiting to be acted on by the Senate. These include major positions, including ambassador to the EU, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, and multiple U.S. attorneys.

Does @johnthune
have any plan to confirm these nominations—we’re already halfway through 2025—or does he think the advise and consent authority is more of a sit and do nothing because working more than three days a week is too hard authority?

Either vote on and confirm these nominees, or go into recess. This business of doing nothing is absurd and needs to stop.
