When I was working at Microsoft I was doing hardware support for the Flight Sim team this was back in 2007 time frame and then Flight sim division got shutdown. I have used many version of MSFS and stopped also and use X plane 10 and was good. But when MSFT returned to MSFS team was reunited i regain my interest in it. The graphics are really impressive, and I think the next version will use AI so hopefully there is more to come
