Tucker Carlson Says ‘Of Course’ Fox News Is ‘Anti-Christian’ on TPUSA Podcast

Conservative talk host Tucker Carlson said “of course” his former employers at Fox News are “anti-Christian,” in a podcast interview released on Sunday by Turning Point USA host Alex Clark.
Carlson appeared on an episode of Clark’s podcast “Culture Apothecary” that was released Sunday, and discussed a slew of topics in the nearly hour-long interview. Among them, the host asked the one-time Fox News star about his firing from the network in 2023.
“When you told your wife, ‘my career is changing after fourteen years’ what was her initial reaction?” Clark asked Tucker to open the topic.
Carlson repeatedly emphasized in his reply that Fox News was also nice to him and that he harbors no ill will toward the network or CEO Suzanne Scott, but in his story stated matter-of-factly that the network is “anti-Christian.”
Carlson explained that his wife’s initial reaction to the news he was out at Fox was “thank God!” and Clark was shocked.
“No way!” she said. “Why’d she say that, you think?”
“She thought they were really anti-Christian.,” Carlson replied.
Clark asked Carlson if he agrees with that assessment, and he said, “Oh, of course. Yeah, yeah.”
“Why do you say that?” Clark asked.
“It just makes them uncomfortable,” Carlson said. “They’re not comfortable with that at all.”
He gave an example of a hypothetical situation in which one might ask what Christians on the West Bank think about “Israeli occupation,” saying that, “as a Christian, I think it’s totally fair” to ask the question.
He then suggested that if one were to do so they’d be “out of there” at Fox News.
Clark exclaimed “Really?” in disbelief, to which Carlson again replied, “Of course!”
Other topics discussed during the podcast interview included the “MAHA” (Make America Healthy Again) branch of MAGA, the departure of Elon Musk from the Trump administration, and the fury on the right over the Jeffrey Epstein memo, which has mainly been directed at Attorney General Pam Bondi but continues to plague Trump.
Carlson also spoke at TPUSA’s Student Action Summit over the weekend, which had another viral moment featuring border czar Tom Homan ripping into a heckler over immigration enforcement.
Mediaite reached out to Fox News for comment but had not yet received a reply at the time of publication.
CARLSON: I said, Suzanne Scott just called me and they canceled my show and my wife was with our dogs and she goes, “What, why?” And I said I don’t know, they wouldn’t tell me and she goes, “Thank God!”
CLARK: No way!
CARLSON: First thing. First thing she said, thank God, thank God.
CLARK: Why’d she say that you think?
CARLSON: She thought they were really anti-Christian.
CLARK: Oh really?
CARLSON: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
CLARK: Do you agree?
CARLSON: Oh, of course. Yeah, yeah.
CLARK: Why do you say that?
CARLSON: It just makes them uncomfortable. They’re not comfortable with that at all. If you said on Fox, which I don’t think I ever did, I probably should have, but like, hey, how are the Christians of the West Bank doing?
CLARK: Hmm.
CARLSON: Like, how’s Bethlehem doing, where Jesus was born? The Church and the Nativity, it’s got to be. That’s not the most sacred site in Christendom, I’m not sure what is. Jesus was born in Bethlehem. It’s the Church of the Nativities. Let’s call the rector of the Church and Nativity and ask him what he thinks of Israeli occupation. Just as a Christian, I think it’s totally fair. Woof. I mean, you’d be out of there.
CLARK: Really?
