You seem worried about me and my family, and concerned we aren't spending our money the way you would like us to.

We aren't all that interested in "First Class" stuff. Or gold-plated stuff. Or fancy watches. Or most other typical status symbols. Wanting those things always seemed to me to be something very insecure people need to prop them up.

I drive a 2002 Toyota Tundra with 220K miles on it, and can't imagine another vehicle that would suit me better.

We have travelled quite a bit.

We rented a Karmann Mobil Davis 620 in 2018 and spent 3 months touring Europe (13 countries).

Imagine traveling through 13 countries for 3 months without ever going through an airport or having to stay at a hotel.

That, in fact, was the trip of a lifetime, and we got it done before Covid complicated travel.

Much earlier, shortly after we met, we spent 3 months backpacking through Indonesia, including Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Burma and Nepal. In Nepal we did the Jomson-Muktinath trail to Tatopani.

We also spent months hiking Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Trails in Japan.

We like getting closer to the earth and its people more than we like 5 star hotels, although we do sometimes finish up some of our more adventurous trips at one, if it's convenient.

I hope this helps dispel some of your concerns about how we are living our lives.
