We had just moved into our new house in 1997. The original owner was an older woman who passed away. We still don't know if she died in the house or at the hospital.My wife was carrying our oldest daughter (3 years old) up the stairs. As you went up the stairs, there was a hallway that ran all the way parallel and behind you. My daughter was facing that way so she could see down the hall. She said, "Mommy, who is that lady in the white dress."My wife spun around and of course didn't see anything.Still gives me the chills............. 22 years have passed since this post. Time for an update.
2 years ago, my daughter now 29 years old, staying with us for the weekend, with her fiancee, upstairs in her former bedroom.
The next morning, I am fixing breakfast for everyone, they come down the stairs and she said, "her fiancee", had an interesting night last night.
He then says, he woke up around 3am, opened his eyes, and there was a "lady in a white dress" standing right in front of him. He reached out to touch her and he received a "shock" like static electricity.
My daughter had never told him the story of the lady in the white dress. |
