Authoritarians who cosplay as populists always want to cut the interest rates. And are always shocked, shocked I tell you!, when inflation takes off. In Trump's case, he will no doubt blame immigrants and Democrats and have them all ICE'd in the middle of the night... The enemy within is insidious. Especially when they gain control of the government.
