RSG, TUO, NTH

I tried not to get too hyped about drill plays, because, well, they don't usually work out, but the more I research Rocky Shore Gold aka RSG's Gold Anchor prospect in Newfoundland the more prospective it looks. The key attractant is Gold Anchor, which borders NFG's Queensway project. Among the more than 70km of strike length of gold-bearing faults on Gold Anchor, RSG have zeroed in on Lane Pond target.

The latest news is that mapping and sampling and geophysics has extended Lane Pond to over 11 km of strike length, which after more exploration will be drill tested for the first time this fall.

I added to my RSG holdings, so I hope they find what they are looking for. My initial plan is to sell this tranche of shares on the double, but plans can change...

Teuton Resources aka TUO's JV partner on the Treaty Creek project in BC's Golden Triangle, Tudor Gold, has made the latest move in a long legal battle with Seabridge Gold over a section of land that SEA wants to use to build a tunnel to its KSM project, while TUD/TUO need it, as one of the few areas with flat ground, to build facilities for Treaty Creek.

I won't go over the details of the issue. Suffice to say that TUD has filed a Notice of Appeal in the British Columbia Supreme Court against a decision by the the Chief Gold Commissioner of British Columbia that came down on SEA's side of the argument.

It will be a serious blow to the Treaty Creek project if SEA wins the bunfight, unless of course someone buys both SEA and Treaty Creek as I hope will happen.

And there is also the option to appeal to the BC Supreme Court, which I suspect the loser in this srage will do.

Nord Precious Metals aka NTH released an update on tailings exploration at their Castle Mine property in Ontario. It turns out the tailings deposits, some of which have already been assayed to show high grade silver, are much more extensive than the historical records indicated, extending to the property boundaries and beyond.

NTH is already waiting for a fast track permit to process these tailings and then use the processed tailings to reinforce the mine, so now they have to figure out the source of these new tailings and what they contain,

If for some reason you want to watch a video of an ordinary looking excavator digging some ordinary looking holes, you can find it in this PR..

Saville opines that gold remains in consolidation, and that he would not be surprised if it tested the April high before a larger correction. He continues to expect that gold stocks will reach much higher levels before year end, and that silver will test long term resistance at $50. He also notes that we are in the early stages of cyclical bullish moves in Pt, Pd, and Ag, relative to Au.
