I like Zenith's new strategy, however, there remain a number of holes:

1. Will Zenith be in the Microsoft CE or Oracle NC camp or adopt some sort of hybrid system?

2. What is the status of Zenith's STB's and digital cable modems? Will Zenith sell the Network Division to LGE or to a third party or keep plugging away on its own?

3. Where does Intel fit in the picture? No mention of Intel or other potential partners.

4. When can we expect an announcement of Zenith's pricing for VSB royalties? Does General Instruments have a path around Zenith's patents? Note recent GIC press release.

5. Why hasn't Zenith found a manufacturer for its 9" CRTs (tubes), essential for its HDTV set production? Why not go with 7" CRTs, as Thomson has selected? Much cheaper to produce and more readily available from OEMs.

6. Is Zenith making a profit on its computer display line in Melrose?

7. What is the worldwide marketing and distribution strategy between Zenith and LGE?

8. Has Zenith developed an HDTV marketing strategy drawing upon the need of local broadcasters to get DTV hardware in place, asap?
