Sure seems that way. This is Mercedes, for crying out loud! I wonder what Joe thinks about it, re: all the talk about cost reductions etc...

At least the author specifies that there's an infra-red blocking film in addition to the variable opacity. I guess that we still have a way to go before entering the mid-level cars. Hopefully we get a nice surprise this year with an "Asian" car.

BTW, that CLA, with the "Stars" in the roof is quite cheesy looking to me. They didn't even bother to randomize them at least in the pictures...it looks like a row and column pattern.
