To both of you more nimble players tha me, a question.

If you are brilliant enough to short a stock to zero, and you never cover, it is still a trade that in the long term escapes a taxation event. Are there still costs of the short after it is delisted?

I've only shorted twice, and do not have the personality to do that.

That being said, I love to go short puts and let time decay be my friend.
