It remains the #1 smart contract platform due to its first-mover advantage, large developer community and continuous upgrades. Appears they are in a race but so far it's ahead of the herd. I'm in the camp that believes as consolidation and shake out of lesser utility crypto's and outright worthless ones continue, most will not be around in some few years.
