There is a followed correlate metric between: a market-cap weighted S&P 500 index and an equal-weighted S&P 500 index, in how they weigh their constituent stocks. The Market-cap weighting gives larger companies a greater influence on the index's performance, while equal weighting gives each stock the same influence, regardless of size. Given such, this metric is pointing to a sustainable Equity Market price appreciation of 18+ % within the next 12 months.
