A buddy of mine sent me a link to V by Naxatras—just gave it a full listen. What a trip. Musically, it reminds me of Hawkwind, with its layered synths and heavy psychedelic grooves. But vocally, I kept thinking of Eric Woolfson from the Alan Parsons Project—smooth, melodic, and clear, but set against cosmic, spacey textures.

It’s easy to hear why V has been described as one of the best psychedelic rock releases of 2025—a lush, immersive journey praised for its deep production, Middle-Eastern influences, and tight instrumentation.

That said, it’s not something to throw on in the background. There’s a lot happening beneath the surface—layers, timing shifts, and slow builds that feel carefully crafted. I’ll need to go back for a repeat listen. This is definitely a band that rewards close attention.
