“I think podcasts could become kind of the new basic cable television,” For many they have become the new basic cable tv... My sons watch very little television... but they do listen to podcasts while doing other things.. like hiking, jogging, working out or driving. They haven't watched cable tv since they left the house for college.. decades ago. For that matter, I haven't watched cable tv for going on 7 years... but I do watch 'pieces of shows' here and there. Colbert, for example on Youtube.
