In listening to all the CPO presentations, no one but Poet indicated that they integrate electrical and optical components onto a multi-chip-module (MCM) at wafer scale.

It's an assembly where multiple integrated circuits (chips), semiconductor dies, and other components are integrated onto a single substrate to function as a larger, more complex chip.
