Fav from 1963.

Then came Peter, Paul & Mary who turned the floodlights onto, hitherto unknown, Bob Dylan.

By pure luck, saw Dylan, live at The Gaslight Cafe' in NYC, shortly thereafter.

Greatest solo set I ever witnessed, despite more great performances by bands AWA solo performers before or since than I can count.

Sat at front table 10' in front of the small stage. Was a quiet Tuesday nite open mike just before labor day 1963. The room was almost empty. May 10 people there. He walked in unannounced, borrowed Dave van Ronk's epic 1952 Gibson J-200 and blew the top of my head clean off!
Wave after wave of incendiary genius imagery swept over me.

Never saw music the same way again.
