Same thing but no worries, thank you. If I click on a link and it says set up an account, even to read for free, that's always a big turnoff for me, fwiw. There are the archive.ph style sites but lately I just copy and past the text myself if I really care to share it.

As for relevant VZ opinions as opposed to boomer's inane diary to herself... my original cellphone was a sprint plan a lifetime ago and then later rolled into VZ through a family company where it remains. That phone is ancient and needs to be updated but unlike most of my age and younger, I go out of my way NOT to live on my phone, I just want reliable service when I do have to use it and in my semi-rural area VZ has historically been the best.

The other month, I bought the latest and greatest Samsung Galaxy phone on a whim on sale. Instead of replacing my ancient VZ phone, also a Galaxy, I decided to get a new number and an annual prepaid plan from visible, a wholly owned subsidiary of VZ. So far it's mostly used as a wifi hotspot on the road but also works well otherwise. My point is the visible plan has been great so far and unsure if this cannibalizes even the regular VZ mobile subs? The caveat with Visisble is it's 99.9% online, not much human support if issues. For me that's not a problem. If an older relative, it might be. fwiw.

p.s. The other thing I haven't figured out is, if Visisble is using all of the VZ proper 5G radio bandwidths or turns some off to differentiate the service. I suppose that info is hidden away in footnotes somewhere but never delved into it.
