Morning abuelita and gib. This is not the first time but the third that I have removed hummingbirds from the garage - twice they got bogged down with spider webs and once I ran my finger up under its feet and the bird sat there until I got it outside.
The ceiling is much higher than the door - humming birds have this instinct to fly up and not head out the door - a swallow will zip in and out the door without an issue.

I was prepared to spend hrs looking for the thing - found it in about the first thirty seconds - which was nice and had it caught in maybe 3 minutes.
