Reminds me of what we are encountering with the very healthy coyote population in our neck of the woods thanks to this being a rabbit year. Our remaining Shepherd, we lost one recently, keeps adult coyotes at bay during our walks while engaging with / playing with coyote pups. It's quite fascinating to watch this. The coyote parents just watch from a distance.
