I few years ago I developed "POTS" -- Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome -- which is a condition where a person's heart rate speeds up a lot when standing up. Symptoms are dizziness, lightheadedness, and fatigue. I mentioned it on this board and someone (I think it was Shootist) recommended taking a Magnesium and Potassium supplement. I tried it and it fixed me right up. To this day the symptoms come back if I let myself get low on salt, Magnesium, or Potassium.

I currently mix my own electrolytes every morning and drink 'em instead of taking pills, which is easy and saves a lot of money.
