You're welcome! I bought my first POET (as POETF) in early 2021 and remember buying some over $1.00 (before the reverse split). I bought quite a bit more in late 2023 and early 2024 which brought my average below $2. Last fall I decided to start buying LEAPs (2026 and 2027) instead of common. Now I plan to harvest both LEAPs and common as they reach long-term tax status, and put those proceeds into more LEAPs (2028s should become available this September).

Rather than griping about the past, I chose to view the 23/24 prices as an opportunity to lower my cost basis and am very happy with the results since then (~3X in one year!).

People should remember that investing in pre-revenue stocks like POET is essentially like Venture Capital, which is an opportunity rarely available to the public. I don't worry about the day-to-day volatility and instead take advantage of it to average in. Even today's prices are a long-term gift IMHO if you believe in Suresh and the technology as I do.

Risky yes, but potentially high returns if you can stand the volatility.
