Not an E-Wave maven, but when there's clear cut patterns? I'll use em as confirmation of my more reliable FA & TA inputs. Otherwise? All too easy to fall into so many alternate counts & projections that you can prove almost anything....After The Fact. That said, seeing a lot of clear cut counts in our energy favs. PTEN 10 day hourly is just one example. 3 waves up, 3 waves down, consistent with months of bottoming evidence from the entire tool box. Below, find same time segment for APA where we have 5 waves up from another ST bottom. Below that, APA YTD daily with clean 5 waves up from the primary cyclical bottom.
