Another presentation of the COT. Large traders are short ES futures. I don’t know how many of those trades are proactive, directional trades - and how many are part of some strategies - or, hedges for their short put positions. The latter would still imply bearishness - if not for the ES sellers, then for the buyers of those puts. Overall, it appears that for as long as those hedge funds do not begin covering those shorts - it’s an argument in favor of the rally continuing.
