Hey, bar mates!
Been a while since I dropped by for a visit. Hope everyone is doing well.
Things going along okay here in Nova Scotia. Been keeping myself busy and entertained with a few trail cameras set up in my forest. Amazing how much wildlife they have picked up - bear, coyote, fox, bobcat, deer, raccoons, skunks, birds. Checking cameras is like opening presents. So many surprises. This is all within about 200 feet of my house.
It's been a warm, sunny summer by the ocean. Our tiny town is getting a fast EV charging station. It's under construction and should be ready before long. I think it will be well used by locals and tourists.
Which, by the way - seeing quite a few tourists - from U.S. and a lot from Europe this year. Kind of wild as some from Europe have these big Unimog (and similar) RV vehicles shipped over to tour around in. They come in at the port in Halifax. Big things. Never seen that in the past.
Other than that, I've just been doing a lot of nature-related stuff - bird counts and so on. Making art for an exhibit later this year.
That's about all the news from my outpost by the sea.
