I saw a book that I wanted (Perspectives: A Novel) on EBAY around its original list price but open to a best offer. Since the EBAY seller had many books listed, I figured maybe they would take whatever for this obscure title.

I offered them half their ask and had an instant acceptance. Worth a try if you have a title you aren't dying to read tomorrow.
