Greg, Hi!!! Thanks for the post on China.....very interesting and nice to hear that angle once again.... I really can't remember when I read the article on Dell in IBD but, I can approximately put it during the spring of 96.....anyhow, I had just bought Dell in March and the article caught my attention....Basically, Dell had plans of sending some of their best people over to China....described the Chinese people as savers and investing in their one child....with the strong cultural ties to producing that "Albert Einstein" in every child....the PC being their access to the Princeton Library, etc...building their own infrastructure immediately.......very interesting article....China is so big it is unimaginable how much market share one could steal....IMO one or two more qts. like Dell just had in that region and we will have to all buy powerful telescopes to find the Dell Rocket in outer space....I am aware of the ease of producing % increases when you are that small in a new expanding area...but, hey; Dell has developed this type of pattern before and I for one am not betting against their management.
