Impact Silver aka IPT released the first results from a drill campaign at its Plomosas mine in Mexico, where the previous operator neglected exploration. These holes were aimed at extending the Santo Domingo Zone, and judging by results they were successful, with a best intercept of 18.03% ZnEq over 2.60m Including 23.70% ZnEq over 0.73m. The best news of all was that though the area drilled is close to existing workings, it was not previously considered for the mine plan.

Drilling continue to extend this mineralization and at other prospects on the property.

The IKN newsletter does a thorough look at how the news about Heliostar getting its permits to restart a mine in Mexico, gave Minera Alamos aka MAI, also waiting for permots on several fronts, a nice bump. I will add that MAI really seems primed to go as soon as its gets similar news of its own.

FWIW, in the wake of Osisko Development aka ODV announcing a $450M financing to build their Cariboo gold mine in BC, BMO issued a new Analyst Report. BMO appears to like the terms of this financing, as they kept ODV at Outperform and raised their target to $6.
