Reports Q2 (Jun) earnings of $0.57 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.03 better than the FactSet Consensus of $0.54; revenues fell 10.7% year/year to $651.8 mln vs the $650.59 mln FactSet Consensus. Co issues guidance for Q3, sees EPS of $0.69-0.87, excluding non-recurring items, vs. $0.89 FactSet Consensus; sees Q3 revs of $710-770 mln vs. $759.10 mln FactSet Consensus."Our Semiconductor Test Group drove better than expected results in the second quarter. System-on-a-Chip (SOC), primarily for artificial intelligence applications, was the strongest growth driver," said Teradyne CEO, Greg Smith.
