when i tried to learn that sort of math eons ago, didn't get to the gamma functions deal. and though it's astrophysics, doubt it has anything to do with gamma rays. :) which reminds me of this: youtube.com one of my fav films and my introduction to the magic of joanne woodward--wow! oh, i did 'look them up' but that didn't help me. :/ cheers!
