Eureka is between low and high tides at the moment, moving back toward high tide in a couple of hours. The surge from the tsunami is forecasted to be about a foot for us. We're also protected a little by the bay, but the Samoan peninsula may not be so protected since it forms the ocean side of Humboldt Bay. We will see in a little while. It'll be around midnight for the first of the waves.
