I think it’s legitimate to discount any new high today in the S&P, given the unique influence of highly-weighted Microsoft’s huge run-up this morning. Monthly MuFu inflows may soften any decline over the next day or two, but it would take something very convincing to keep me from sticking with the open on 7/29 as the “orthodox” high for analysis purposes.
