Eric, there's a miserable article on CSCO in Baron WeekDay Trader. Tuesday, February 24, 1998 Bellwether No Longer? Cisco Lags Its Elite Peers By Lisa R. Goldbaum Basically, Goldbaum is saying that even though CSCO has analysts behind it 'some' funds are reducing position or getting out. Real bummer! She's comparing it to MSFT, INTC, and DELL which are all currently very HOT. As much as I don't like this person's slant on CSCO, I thought I'd let you know what a lot of folks may be seeing. [I've heard Cramer say he hasn't much use for Baron's opinions, they haven't been right on much yet.] Laura (there's a very clear copyright at the end of their email page, so I'm not copying). I tried to find the article at the Baron's site to post the URL, but they only seem have items dated 2/23 available right now.
