Agree.

Remember maybe a year or two ago I proposed here I'd favor an import tax (aka tariff) of about 15% to pay for the Social Security and Medicare taxes not collected on workers doing jobs overseas. I'd like to see Trump say that outright but since money is fungible and Al Gore's "lock box" is a known joke, I'll take this as a win.

Just think if POTUS Bush 43 had been able to put the excess payroll taxes into the US stock market when it was melting down in the early 2000s.... but I believe that was him hitting the third rail and it electrocuted his popularity, gave us numskull politicians like Barney Frank that caused the housing bubble by forcing banks to lend to the unqualified... thus leading to Obama to "save us" by breaking the "rule of law" by forcing GM bond holders to give up their legal rights to the unions rather than void the pensions and contracts, force GM into bankruptcy and restructuring to compete with Tesla, that came about by that failure.

Anyway... glad we saw the writing and took some profits! I missed a few I had in my personal notes and didn't take enough profits in INKT when it was over $60 but overall, I'm ready for a summer holiday for the bull, even if it turns out to be very short.
