used to have an interest in a thermal coal trading biz (one way, exporting from China to the Philippines), and re <<China has coal and Australia is closer to buy from>> I had impression that China imported metallurgical coal from Canada and Australia to blended with stuff from elsewhere (Mongolia and S Africa) to get precisely the correct effect, and exported thermal coals to here there everywhere in moderate quantities for relationship / strategic reasons.

Difficult to see value difference except branding, packaging, and metal content. Difficult to not like mechanical watches.
For US$ 125, difficult to go too wrong.
Tight fit and super finish, feels substantial, good wearability, no-worries knocking about and banging on metal doors. Nylon strap very practical and secure.
Shall see about longevity.
Only complaints, the moon phase is on the small side, and precious metal would be nicer, of course.
Really like the 'revolutionary' Red Star - nice touch. More subtle / refined than a guillotine logo I suppose.
