Hi aul,

I'm in a similar situation.

To me Corvettes are to be driven slowly and just be cool.

Keep the miles down and take more than excellent care of them.

I've only had one new Corvette (1980).

Chevrolet moved me to Houston oin 1981 and I lost my down payment on selling my home to GM. Sold the vette in 1982, and saved for a down as we rented for 36 months again.

The 80 was the last vette one could do after market modificationsto. As nice as the styling was , it was detuned and not one to holdonto for time to reward it.

NOT SO NOW, I'm thinking.

Bob
