Wayne Whaley - what happens when on a given year - May, June and July - all 3 of them - are positive? This happened 17 times out of the 75 post-war years. All 17 times, the time period from Oct 27 to January 18 were positive. Nice - but beware of a bearish stretch from Oct 12 to Oct 27 - when 15 times out of 17 SPX was negative. Suggests that this year seasonal weakness *may* come a bit late.
