I was just looking over the earnings numbers and see that they declined dramatically in 23, 24 and 25. Yet my recollection is that you were calling SIMO to our attention long before that. I'm pleased to have finally joined you in buying some SIMO shares over the last 8 months of course, but the fact is that it was just good luck. In fact I must attribute most of my success in investing over the years to luck.

So I'm curious and would like to remember how you negotiated the swale in earnings back then. My recollection is that you were always positive about SIMO's ultimate success and have been very careful to always let us know that some of what you report is opinion--in fact that is part of what motivated me to begin getting interested in the company.

And I am also concerned about the takeover of Hong Kong by China though Taiwan seems to be the real home of SIMO. How do you see the connection between those two countries playing out for SIMO?

Finally I enjoy your jokes about us buying out QCOM (and perhaps others on boards I don't follow).
