CJ, if Trump wants to transform America's economy and "reshore" manufacturing, he has to prep the public for the short-term pain that will inevitably result from his tariff policies. That's what Javier Milei did with the Argentinian public as he tried to transition the economy to a more deregulated form. Triple-digit inflation was expected. He's taking ownership of that because he has a goal in mind. Trump isn't even man enough to own any transitional consequences of his actions. The orange dumbass thinks that the economy should start booming at the sound of his voice. And you see the MAGA cultists cheering how the stock market is in positive territory today, even though overall the markets are barely any higher than they were at Trump's inauguration.
