This is an excellent review of Pony.ai the Chinese robotaxi service. My thoughts re Chinese vs US robotaxi service are biased toward the US based on questionable data from the Chinese. As opposed to the US regulations and reporting which is most often accurate. Impossible for me to determine the number of accidents, incidents, and deaths whereas those numbers are generally available here from Waymo, May Mobility, and to some degree Tesla among other providers. It's interesting how little control she has over the cabin of the car. The pick ups and drop offs look to be problematic in China. Certainly they would be addressed here in the US prior to proliferation. youtube.com
