So there are two big changes Canada is involved in right now.

1) They are replacing as many deals as they can with the US, with Asia and Europe. They are saying we are moving east and west, not south. And fast tracking building new infrastructure to effect that.

2) And they are building a new infrastructure to replace foreign manufacturing, with in state manufacturing, especially in the US.

And a huge advantage they have over the US is cheap electricity. So instead of exporting cheap electricity to say the rust belt, they are going to use it to manufacture in state .e.g. Ontario where electricity is about 1/3 rd the cost compared to the rust belt.

And, as we enter the world of AI this is a huge deal.
