WEX, WGX, RIO, EDV

Western Exploration aka WEX has begun drilling on its Aua Au/Ag project in Nevada. The 4km drill programme is designed to test the Tomasina Fault zone, where WEX thinks they can define an analogue to the already existing Wood Gulch Resource, only shallower and with a longer strike length, up to 3 km.

I hope they are right!

For those following west Australian gold miner Westgold aka WGX, they put out a new presentation for the recent Diggers and Dealers conference. After reading through it, I didn't see anything new other than some of the figures, but it works as a useful summary/reminder.

The IKN newsletter brings us news that Chilean gold developer, about to become producer, Rio2 aka RIO's listing will be upgraded from the TSXV to the TSX this month, which opens the stock up to a new set of institutional investors.

FWIW, in the wake of Endeavour Mining aka EDV's Q2 results, Scotia released a new analyst report. Citing the earning beat, that operations were in line with expectations, and the reiteration of guidance, Scotia called it a Mild Positive and kept EDV at Sector Outperform with a target of $50.

Saville reminds us that measured in terms of the PoG, the price of copper reached a multi-decade low last week when it breached the 2020 low. He continues to maintain that once the gold bull is over, other commodities are likely to begin a strong bull market. He also predicts that the PMs and PM stocks will end the current correction soon, likely this month. Finally, he is seeing signs that the stagflation that will inevitably come about due to Trump's economic 'policies' is beginning to appear.
